Peru studies needs for updates to regional airports

travelupdate.com.pe reported the Minister of Transport and Communications, Carlos Paredes, reported today that the state will invest S /. 400 million in pre-investment studies for the rehabilitation of runways and aircraft platforms airports Arequipa, Chiclayo, Piura and Juliaca.

He said “we all have an enormous responsibility to that extent we will reach and exceed the goals we set. We must continue to homeland because it is the only way we come out ahead, “he said.

Paredes said improving airport infrastructure is fundamental to the competition that contributes to social inclusion. “The expansion and modernization of the Jorge Chavez International Airport, as well as the modernization of airports in the north and south of the country, with an investment of over U.S. $ 450 million, are the most important challenges to sustain the growth of the aviation sector” said.
