Peru denies Ecuadorian military entered Peruvian territory

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru denied that Ecuadorian soldiers have entered Peruvian territory in the province of Zarumilla (northeast), according to a statement released yesterday. “There has been no income at all Ecuadorian troops or troops into the country,” said the Peruvian Foreign Ministry in a brief message.

The Peruvian authorities clarified that is untrue version of the local press about “an alleged income of Ecuadorian soldiers in the town of Quebrada Seca, in support of an Ecuadorian citizen in the eviction of private land in a border area.” Read Article
