Peru: 13 percent of adolescent females have had at least one child

In the past 11 years the rate of teenage mothers in Peru remains almost unchanged at 13%, and the most frequent cases occur in the forest regions, according to the National Population and Family Health (Endes) on 2011 National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) . The study also reveals that chronic malnutrition in children under five has declined by five percent. Read Article
