Northern Gulf States of Mexico fastest growing area for dengue epidemic

The Northern Gulf States are located in the fastest growing area where the dengue epidemic in the country, according to figures from the National Center for Epidemiological Surveillance and Disease Control (Cenavece), 35 percent of cases in the country are located in the states of Veracruz, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi and Nuevo Leon. In these states had registered 13 000 853 39 000 730 of the country until the last week of October, and are located by the number of confirmed cases, Veracruz first eighth Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi and Nuevo Leon in ninth in tenth nationally.
