Nogales Arizona: Smuggler detained attempting to enter U.S. from Mexico with 425 pounds of marijuana packed in Piñatas

Piñatas are usually filled with candy. But a truck carrying a load of the colorful party favorites into the United States through Nogales turned out to be filled with a more sinister surprise: 425 pounds of marijuana. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, its officers at the Mariposa Port of Entry referred Juan Marcelo Armstrong, 24, of Tucson, for additional inspection of his piñata-packed truck when he attempted to enter the U.S. last Friday afternoon.
