Nogales Arizona: man dies after bee swarm attack

A man died after being attacked by a swarm of bees in Nogales on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim, 75-year-old Ramon Figueroa Rascon of Nogales, was helping to clean up trash and debris at a business at the 3200 block of Silver Hills Drive when he moved an old tire and disturbed a bee hive underneath, the Nogales Police Department said in a news release issued Thursday morning.

According to Assistant Fire Chief William Sanchez, emergency personnel from the Nogales Fire Department responded to a call at approximately 3 p.m. When they arrived, Figueroa was one of several people being attacked. Read Article
