Nine raids in Managua, Nicaragua lead to discovery of laboratory for synthetic drugs

During an operation named “Embrión,” National Police in Managua, Nicaragua were able to find a laboratory for synthetic drugs. The operation included nine raids throughout the area, including one in Motastepe, Ciudad Sandino that led to the discovery of the lab. According to La Prensa, police found 80 barrels of chemicals at the scene typically used in the production of drugs such as ecstasy. Plans for the operation began in 2010. The operation resulted in the arrest of seven citizens and one Mexican. Read Article
