Nicaraguan woman carrying drugs shot and killed in Costa Rica

A Nicaraguan woman in possession of drugs died after being shot three times in the head in  Lomas del Río, Pavas, Costa Rica. She was identified as Nora Estrella Zúñiga Piña (43), La Nacion reports. The shooter was identified only as a man on a motorcycle, who was riding with another male. The victim had been walking with a 13-year-old, who was not harmed in the conflict. Officials believe the shooting occurred due to drug issues. The men fled the scene after the shooting; thus, their names have not been reported, and they have not been arrested.
