Nicaragua: Chilean photo journalist deported after being held in jail four days

Telam.com.ar reported that the government of Nicaragua to Costa Rica yesterday expelled photojournalist Retamal Hector, who remained detained incommunicado since last Tuesday, according to the local and international press.
Retamal, who is 37 and works for the French news agency AFP, was sent to St. Joseph in a TACA airline flight and “the charge against him is to violate the Migration Act,” said Chilean consul in Managua, Diego Rivera. Read Article
