Narcos shifting drug trafficking routes through the Caribbean to U.S.

Increase in homicides and corruption in Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.

Mexicocnn.com.mx reported the drug like cocaine is increasing in the Caribbean route, said Tuesday the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) in its annual report. After that in recent years recorded a decrease in traffic through the Caribbean countries, again increased, the agency explained. “The Colombian authorities reported that most of their recent seizures indicate the growing importance of the Caribbean route compared to previous years, when the seizures occurred mostly in the Pacific region,” he added.
