Napo Ecuador: Yellow alert for heavy rains, flooding

TOURIST ACTIVITIES / RIVER TRANSPORTATION SUSPENDED
A yellow alert was declared in the areas Ahuano, Misahuallí and Puerto Napo, Tena in the cantons and Arosemena Tola, in the province of Napo.

These areas were severely affected by the overflowing of rivers Anzu, and Misahuallí Jatunyacu, which originated after the torrential rain fallen between Tuesday and Wednesday. This last day but at night, Emerging Operations Committee (COE) provincial took the preventive measure. Read Article
