Montecristi, Ecuador: Paramilitary Style Cocaine Lab Discovered by Police

According to ElComercio.com the cocaine lab discovered this past weekend, was built in the style of a paramilitary drug distribution center. Ecuadorian National Police say they discovered tunnels for escape routes, underground storage bays for chemicals, refined cocaine and military-type weapons. Police discovered the laboratory in the zone of Rio Bravo in the canton of Montecristi. The chief of the Ecuadorian Anti-Narcotic Unit says agents could not believe the sophistication of the lab.Read Article
