Molina, Chile: Father and Daughter Sentenced for Human Trafficking

On August 23, 2013 Red Maule Noticias reported that Manuel Espinoza and his daughter Paola Espinoza Provoste have been sentenced on charges of labor trafficking. The two were found guilty of participating in the trafficking of over sixty Bolivians to work installing high tension towers. The prosecution has requested five years imprisonment for Espinoza and his daughter. The court has until August 27 to reach a final decision on the sentencing. Read Article
