Mexico to Italy: Drug Traffickers Used Dogs to Transport Drugs

From El Comercio on July 10, 2013- Italian police detained 49 people in Milan in relation to a drug smuggling operation that was using dogs to transport the drugs. According to authorities, 48 dogs were forced to swallow packets of cocaine in Mexico and would later be killed in Italy for the drugs to be recovered. Among the 49 detainees there were Ecuadorians, Peruvians, and Salvadorans. Read Article
