Mexico: Police Chief Accused of assaulting journalist

Carlos Zamarripa, Attorney General in the Mexican states of Guanajuato has signalled the local police chief as the one of the assailants in the attack of journalist Karla Janeth Silva.
Silva was hospitalized after three men assaulted her in her own office at newspaper El Heraldo de León, in the western Mexican state of Guanajuato. Before assaulting the journalist, one of the aggressors told her to “cut it out with those daring stories.” Two men are under arrest. Read Article
