Mexico: numbers of individuals working informal market increases

The unemployment rate in the country decreased 0.61 percentage points to stand at 4.81%

The occupancy rate in the informal sector scored a record in the country by providing a rate of 29.72% compared to the population in June 2012, reported the National Survey of Occupation and Employment (ENOE) developed by the Institute National Statistics and Geography (INEGI).

For its part, the ENOE notes that overall unemployment rate in Mexico was at 4.81% in the sixth month of the year, which improved from the 5.42% presented in the same month in 2011. Read Article
