Mexico, Baja Califorina Sur: Dengue cases surpasses 2000 cases in 2013

octavodia.mx reported that the number of cases of dengue fever in Baja California Sur now exceeds 2 000 in so far this year, including 78 were of the hemorrhagic type, according to health authorities. According to the Ministry of health in BCS, there have been a total of 2 024 cases of dengue, of which 83 per cent have been in the municipality of Los Cabos, and 16 percent in La Paz. The unit indicated that these two municipalities concentrated the largest number of cases, where abatizacion and fumigation tasks have been reinforced. Read Article
