Mexico: 67 percent of businesses have cut staff to reduce costs

Mexico City, 67% of Mexican firms has made staff cuts to reduce costs and 74% of Mexicans do not receive benefits “superior” to the law, according to a study trabajando.com, a consultancy specializing in the field. In the research consisted of interviews with more than 2000 Mexicans wondered if their companies will provide benefits above the law in order to increase their salary, 74% said no, and only 26% said yes.
