Mexico, 32 prisoners escape from three prisons at nearly the same time

At least 32 prisoners escaped in the early hours of Monday leaks perpetrated almost simultaneously in three prisons in the Mexican state of Veracruz (east), said the state government, said 14 inmates have been recaptured. The leak occurred within an hour and a half in prison in the municipalities of Coatzacoalcos, Amatlán of the Kings and Cosamaloapan, told reporters Gerardo Buganza, Secretary of State government of Veracruz on the Gulf of Mexico. “Between 02h30 and 04h00 (09h00 GMT) in the morning 32 prisoners managed to escape, 15 of them under federal jurisdiction, 17 more than regular courts,” said Buganza, adding that revisions are still being conducted in prisons, so the number of displaced could rise.
