Loja Ecuador: Military siezes cache of explosives, Bolivia connection

Eluniverso.com reported that in Loja Ecuador, Military members seized at a military control about one mile outside of Loja on road to Zamora.

Members of the armed forces seized 726 explogel units, 1,800 detonators, capsules, 1,680 sticks of dynamite (of Bolivian origin) and 7,500 meters of safety fuse in Loja-Zamora road. Two men were detained. Military source indicated that the contraband may have been for the purpose of illegal gold mining by FARC. Read Article
