Loja Ecuador: campaign to prevent dengue in coming winter season

The campaign to prevent dengue will spread to several districts of the province. The winter season is coming in December and January, months in which vector-borne diseases increase. In Macara, Zapotillo Catamayo Vilcabamba and the parish in 2009 were cases of dengue. Fabiola Barba, an epidemiologist at the Provincial Health Department of Loja, DPS-L, noted that, based on statistical data, involved in areas where the disease is most intense.
