Is increasingly growing concern among residents in the community of Bell, in the district of Capira, Panama West, the emergence of 150 new cases of leishmaniasis in children and adults.

Milena Rodriguez, 25, who is pregnant, maintains several bites on different parts of the body.

He said it started with a rash that made the bite of a mosquito.

“As I was itching, I scratched over and over until I formed a wound that was growing,” he added. Read Article
