La Nina hits Colombia hard, 35 dead, thousands homeless

Following the announcement of the arrival of Ideam La Nina phenomenon, continues to feel the fury of the second winter season in Colombia. The director of the Office of Risk Management of the Ministry of Interior, Carlos Ivan Marquez, revealed on Friday that the winter that plagues much of the country and left 35 people dead. Marquez reported that the product of the heavy rains that are felt in the country since September, “there have been 40 people wounded, seven missing and 148,399 affected, 31,117 for families, and 26,555 houses affected and 166 destroyed.” Read Article
