Interpol Arrests in Uruguay Fugitive Couple Sentenced for Human Trafficking

On August 24, 2013 Diario El Norte Noticias reported that Interpol has arrested a couple that had fled Argentina a year ago after being found guilty of human trafficking. María Marta Gómez was sentenced to fifteen years in prison and her partner Paul Picatto was given a sentence of six years after the criminal court found the couple guilty of prostituting minors. Interpol is now filing paperwork to bring the couple back to Argentina to serve their prison sentences. Read Article
