Index claims Ecuador higher education system most advanced in Latin America

Ecuador is the Latin American country most advanced in higher education according to the Global Competitiveness Index, a study by the World Economic Forum. Ecuador rose 20 positions according to the Global Competitiveness Index System as education, quality academy management, internet access in schools, availability of research and training services. In the Innovation Index, which measures the ability to innovate, the quality of scientific research institutions, business spending on Innovation & Development, totaled 15 points, as published by the newspaper ‘The Citizen’.
