Honduras: peasants bodies found, had been kidnapped

prensa-latina.cu reported that Honduran authorities today confirmed the discovery of the bodies of two peasants in the Bajo Aguan Valley in northeastern Honduras. The bodies were found in a decomposed state in a boundary of the La Concepción, handcuffed, with signs of torture and multiple impacts of firearms. The victims were identified as Yoni Adolfo Cruz, of the Peasant Associative Lempira Unified Peasant Movement of Aguan (MUCA) and Ezequiel Manuel Guillen, the Peasant Movement of Aguan Recovery (MOCRA). The MUCA had reported that Cruz and Guillen were kidnapped by unknown last Thursday in the settlement La Lempira. Read Article
