Honduras: 30 kilos of cocaine discovered in box located in cargo terminal of San Pedro airport

Believed to have come from Medellin Colombia:
laprensa.hn reported that a parcel in a small box found at the airport’s cargo terminal Ramon Villeda Morales contain at least 29.5 kilograms of cocaine, authorities said. The package was sent from the city Medellin in Colombia, according to the National Bureau of Special Investigation Services (DNSEI). The small cardboard box Honduran touched down last Tuesday afternoon and since then the authorities have found several inconsistencies regarding its origin and recipients. “The situation is strange because the package did not bring recipient is not registered at what point would have been loaded on the plane, we assume that was in Medellin, because we already have months researching and have information that would be in that area,” said Carlos Zavala, DNSEI chief.
