Home burglaries increase in Los Chillos, Tumbaco Ecuador, many inside jobs

Many victims suspect the burglaries are committed by individuals who worked in home.
Numerous burlaries are home invasions with indivicuals posing as worker from official organization (Electric Company)
Assailants often have names of occupants and identity numbers.
Assailants are using various types of drugs to subdue victims.

Elcomercio.com reported that according to statistics from Metropolitan Public Safety Observatory (CSOM) who agreed this Journal, the burglaries in the valley of Los Chillos increased. In 2011, 106 complaints were reported, while in the last year totaled 244. In 2011, in the Valley of Tumbaco while there were 110 complaints in 2012 were 258. Residents of housing estates in Los Chillos know that thefts were planned with informants who are inside their homes doing work. Read Article
