Hacker Produces Contact Information of Brazilian Politicians Convicted in Mensalão

On January 8, 2013, Brasil 24/7 reported that a hacker (Twitter name @nbdu1nder) obtained personal information of three Workers’ Party (PT) politicians convicted in last decade’s Mensalão scandal and shared the information on Twitter. Dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers and other information related to PT members José Dirceu, José Genoíno and Delúbio Soares became public information this morning, paired with a call to all Brazilians to take to the streets to fight corruption. “What is bad in life is that out of a hundred different ways to live, we must choose one and live with the nostalgia of the other ninety-nine,” the user said, adding that the aforementioned politicians chose the wrong path.
