H1N1 flu in Mendoza, Argentina

The government of Mendoza, Argentina, where there have been 54 confirmed cases of the H1N1 flu virus, has announced that they will no longer release data on the amount of cases, according to the Secretary of Health, per lavoz.com.ar. Officials hope to shift the focus from the number of cases to prevention and care. The virus is stronger and more apparent in some people, especially those members of the ‘at risk’ groups, and can go unnoticed in others. Instead of keeping count of the people infected, the government will focus its attention on aiding doctors in diagnosing and administering vaccines to those infected.
