Guayaquil, Ecuador: New Airline granted permission for routes to U.S., no dates announced yet

New airline in Guayaquil

Eluniverso.com reported the Civil Aviation Council last February gave permission to operate from Ecuador Airlines (Aerotec), for five years for two routes to US .: Guayaquil-Miami-Guayaquil, up to ten frequencies a week, and Guayaquil- new York-Guayaquil, up to seven weekly frequencies.

The agreement was issued 006 2016 25 February, and this is stated that the airline, which is based in Guayaquil (Square Lagos, Town Center) will use Boeing aircraft.

The Civil Aviation Council also decided that the airline deliver to the General Secretariat of the Presidency 12 passages in first class and be forced to carry the diplomatic bag.
