Guatemala retracts report of Chapo Guzman’s death

Interior Minister of Guatemala, Mauricio Lopez, said there was confusion about the news broadcast on Thursday an armed confrontation which would presumably dead Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman. According to the rumor, spread primarily through social networks, one of the police officers involved in the alleged operation in the Peten region said they had been killed two drug dealers, one of which would have a great resemblance to the leader Sinaloa cartel. This Friday, the Guatemalan official told international media that there was confusion upon receiving information from the people, because not even have the official report of the battle of federal forces against drug traffickers.
