General Motors to invest millions in new plant to produce cars for export to South America

General Motors confirmed that from 2015 will produce a new vehicle plant in Alvear, exclusive to South America. The president of the company worldwide, Dan Akerson, explained yesterday to President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner the details of “Project Phoenix,” which will require an investment of 2,100 million pesos and will start from early next year.
