Freedom of the press in Latin America a practice at risk

A newspaper report Newspaper Group members of America (GDA) said in April that in countries such as Venezuela, Ecuador and Argentina continues to attack governments that pressure media not to publish unfavorable information to the authorities.

Indicates that harassment ranges from aggressive statements of authorities to intimidate and discredit professionals in the public eye, until specific laws that restrict the work and lawsuits that lead to absurd sentences. Read Article
