Five miners die over the weekend in Antofagasta, Chile

A miner of 22 years identified with the initials WWF died late on Sunday, while another worker identified as JLPP 34, was rescued alive after a landslide occurred product within the mine site Sirusa, located 7 miles from road to Cerro Paranal, in the town of Antofagasta. The injured worker was taken by staff of the Hospital SAMU Regional de Antofagasta and diagnosed with minor injuries.
