FARC member dies from wounds after capture in Venezuela

Colombian Defense Minister Juan Carlos Pinzón, reported today that the FARC guerrilla, Luis Rincón Freddy Rojas, alias “El Cojo”, died after being captured wounded in Venezuela after a police operation.

In a press conference, Finch said in Bogota that “Cojo” “was being pursued by the National Police and was located in Venezuela”, specifically in the state of Zulia.

“There, in fact, the terrorist who faced Venezuelan authorities was wounded and died hours later this individual,” the minister confirmed. Read Article
