Explosion at police facility Quito Ecuador

The blast occurred Thursday at the premises of the headquarters of the Intervention and Rescue Group (GIR) of the National Police, Pusuquí sector, on the way to the Equator. It’s roar was heard to jail and even broke the windows of several nearby houses. At least twelve people were injured, they were transported to different nursing homes. According to the Fire Department of Quito, the explosion occurred when elements of the GIR C-4 explosives handled during a shooting practice. Read Article
