Ecuador’s tax authority set to begin new regulations for retailers selling used items, January 2013

Retailers are to issue a letter of clearance to purchase goods when purchasing a used furniture article of this nature to a person who maintains that activity occasionally, in order to legalize the acquisition.
The second rule setting SRI must be met when a person delivers a well as payment or part exchange for another. In this case, the store owner must verify the sales receipt with the item characteristics, such as brand, color, code number and value by which it acquires. Read Article
