Ecuador: Waves leave damage in coastal areas of Esmeraldas and Manabi

Waves and water source for the last three days (Sunday through Tuesday) affected coastal areas of the country and left damage in areas of Manabi and Esmeraldas.

In the parish of Portoviejo Crucita, Manabi, Esteban Calderon sought yesterday of the sticks, planks and reeds that remained after the cabin collapsed early yesterday morning, after the coup and the force of the waves. He said that in this infrastructure invested $ 3,000 to perform their duties slaughter of sardines on the beach at Los Arenales. According to Calderon, about 15 huts have been affected by the rising tide, which caused part of the boardwalk fall.
