Ecuador, two tourists kidnapped travelling by canoe into Cuyabeno reserve

Elcomercio.com reported that yesterday around 14:30, there was an assault on foreign tourists in the Cuyabeno River, Sucumbíos. Three armed men intimidated visitors heading to the Cuyabeno lagoons by canoe. Preliminary reports Tarapoa Police reported so far are two tourists kidnapped the group was assaulted. But secrecy continues between police members who do not want to pass on what happened criteria. In the Community Police Unit Tarapoa reported that the abducted are Australian and British nationality. Members of the Special Operations Group (GOE) who were at the site just said that tomorrow will be intensified search operations.
