Ecuador, Peru reaffirm goal of peace between the two neighbors

andina.com.pe reported Peruvian President Ollanta Humala today said Peru and Ecuador are willing to continue working on peace and aim to strengthen the friendship between their two peoples that share a common historical background and the same development needs.

After arriving at the airport in the Ecuadorian town of Arenillas and being received by his counterpart Rafael Correa, Mr. Humala said peace can not only be embodied in an agreement, but must be built through sustained effort and goodwill. Read Article
