Ecuador: Pedestrians to receive two to five years prison if they cause accident

Between two and five years imprisonment and a fine of 5% of unified basic salary is the penalty for a pedestrian who, by his imprudence, causes an accident that leaves people killed or seriously injured, according to the Regulations of the New Law Transit.
