Ecuador lifts ban on purchases of anti-flu, inflammatory medicines without prescription

elmercurio.com.ec reported that since last Tuesday you can buy anti-flu and anti-inflammatory again without the need to present a prescription in pharmacies nationwide. The Ministry of Public Health (MPH) lifted the restriction. Marco Freire, Zonal Health Coordinator, said the measure was taken because there was a decrease in acute respiratory diseases.
