Ecuador: Less Paperwork Promised by government involving Tramites

elciudadano.gob.ec REPORTED As of April 1, will take effect the Simplified Citizen Data Sheet. Through this technological resource, public entities of the Government shall not seek copies of certificate or certificate for carrying voting procedures.

Nuria Butina, National Director of Public Data Registry (DINARDAP), said the new electronic system allows the simplification of formalities citizens perform in public institutions that are part of the executive function and in turn, speeds up the response time and efficiency of the institutions.

Cristian Castillo, Minister of Government and president of Procedure Simplification Committee Citizens, said that with the simplified sheet savings of three million dollars will be generated inputs. Additionally, he said that during 2015, 400 procedures were simplified citizens, of whom 200 are made online, with an average of 50 entities benefited with savings of 20 million dollars.
