Ecuador: import quotas hit four sectors of economy

Elcomercio.com reported that decreased job, falling sales and higher prices are some of the effects that have tended to import restrictions, established about three months ago. On June 15 became effective resolutions 66 and 67 of the Committee of Foreign Trade (Comex), establishing quotas, in volume and dollars, for the purchase of vehicles and cell phones, respectively.
