Ecuador: High Waves predicted for this weekend along the coast

eluniverso.com reported strong winds at high latitudes of the South Pacific will generate groups of high-energy waves that approach to the insular and continental regions of Ecuador from May 1, announced the INOCAR. On May 2 most intense waves expected.

It is anticipated that this wave will be of greater intensity than the one presented on 27 March.

In Ecuador navigable waters from May 1 waves present a moderate to strong intensity. In the morning is expected to swell with average heights between 1.5 and 2.5 m. and periods between 16 and 19 seconds off the coast of the island and mainland.
