Ecuador, five provinces now under surveillance for measles

There are five provinces under surveillance in the presence of this virus. The affected are Tungurahua, where the outbreak began in the nearby Cotopaxi, where and started a mass vaccination plan-, Los Rios and Loja. Today the warning came to the Amazon, Ecuavisa reported.
In Pastaza has 3 children with symptoms of having contracted the disease. One of them, less than 5 years, whose family lives in Llandia, a small farming community located 22 miles north of Puyo on the road to Tena. The inhabitants of this town are concerned about this.
