ecuador.corresponsables.com reported the NGO Transparency International presented the index of perception of corruption by 2014. In this ranking, Ecuador appears ranked 110 in the ranking, falling seven positions over the previous year.

The NGO Transparency International presented the index of perception of corruption by 2014. In this ranking, Ecuador appears ranked 110 in the ranking, falling seven positions over the previous year.
Ecuador obtained a score of 33 out of 100 (with 0 being greater perception of corruption and 100 less perception of corruption), two more points on their score with respect to the year before 2013 (35 out of 100), which keeps it in the 110 place among the 175 countries evaluated. Among the 31 countries of the Americas evaluated, Ecuador is ranked 23 in the table and keeps placing below the average score of the region (45), well below countries with acceptable qualifications as Canada (81), Barbados (74), United States (74) and Chile (73), that this year he obtained the same score of Uruguay (73).
