Ecuador: Chambers of Commerces are concerned over new banking rules

Analysis of the Redistribution Bill Social Spending to increase Human Development Grant began yesterday in the Economic Commission of the National Assembly’s concern with representatives of chambers of commerce.  The debate on the legislative table began after 16:00, with the presence of Eduardo Peña, President of the Chamber of Guayaquil, who found that exposure to taxes apply Value Added Tax (VAT) in the banking services could increase the cost of loans and lower interest rates to savers.
