Ecuador: Anti-goverment marches across country, some police reported injured

Ecuadorvisa.com reported…The mobilization against the constitutional emniendas ended today with isolated incidents in some cities, amid a heavy police guard. In Quito, thousands of people marched through the center of the city and sought to reach the National Assembly, which was guarded by 1,500 police.The protesters, who had said that the National Assembly would be taken, were divided into two groups to meet its target but failed. Some violent threw eggs and purple paint and other uniformed isolated staged accidents. The day passed off without major developments. Police had minor clashes with protesters in Cuenca.
